As it's January and it's officially that time of year when people start (or at least, attempt to start...) a diet as one of their New Year's resolutions. Next to that, it's Veganuary meaning we would like to pay some attention to vegan snacks and in particular our vegan Mini Pop! range! That's why we've lined up 8 interesting facts about this range below.
1. Mini Pop! is our second range, next to our gourmet popcorn range. We launched it in July 2019 because we wanted to be able to provide more low calorie, vegan options to our lovely customers.
2. Mini Pop! is literally mini popcorn. Made from an ancient grain of corn, these tasty morsels pop into teeny weeny, popsqueak-sized pieces, much smaller than regular popcorn. That doesn't mean they taste any less though!
3. Due to their tiny size and fragile nature, these “micro” kernels found in Mini Pop!® rapidly break down during the cooking process, and virtually disintegrate when chewed, improving the eating experience. Because the kernels are smaller, they are easier to digest and won’t get stuck in your teeth. That's why this range is kinder on your tummy and you won't need any floss after muncing your way through one (or multiple!) of the bags
4. The mini kernels are known for their distinctive nutty flavour and crunchy texture. We have developed 5 delicious flavours that fit very well with this profile: Sea Salted, Salt & Vinegar, Sweet & Salty, Toffee and White Truffle!
5. Our entire Mini Pop! range is vegan, gluten free and made from all natural ingredients we all know and love.
6. As we think everyone should be able to enjoy a delicious popcorn snack, even when on a diet or when you're on the go, all Mini Pop! flavours are available in portion sized bags. Depending on the flavour, they contain between 95 and 138 calories per portion, making it a very tasty and 100% approved option for a snack at any time of day.
7. At Popcorn Shed we love eye catching colours and unique packaging. For this new range, we wanted this range to literally POP off the shelves. That's why we chose unique combinations of bright colours and bold and unique fonts to catch your eye right away!
